If You Love God, You Can NOT Stay The Same, YOU Must Change

People all the time make statements like “We welcome everybody – with different opinions – we welcome anybody – it doesn’t matter what you believe – we all have one common goal – that’s to build together.”

Of course, it’s not everyone’s statement word for word, because many people have their own unique way of saying it. Something similar is said at many Christian churches – the phrase is “Come as you are,” but that actually cannot be found anywhere in the bible.

The problem is that majority of people that attend meetings (like the first scenario) or churches (like the second scenario) leave out of the church or the meeting “the same way as they came.”

The Bible states the following related verses:

How can two people who don’t agree walk together?

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Amos 3:3 (KJV)

We should be seeking the laws of the bible from our messengers (priests, preachers, ministers, pastors, etc.).

7 For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
Malachi 2:7 (KJV)

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)

God wants us to renew our mind of the things that the world has taught us that are not righteous.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2 (KJV)

Sitting with nonbelievers…

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Corinthians 6:14

33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthians 15:33

Clearly these scriptures don’t align with “having your own opinions” or “meeting with those no matter what beliefs they have.”

We have to come ready to change; ready to change our minds, change our eating habits, change our clothes, change our lives.

It starts with loving God and ourselves. If we love God, we would not eat Unclean Foods, Dress Inappropriately and we definitely would not be hating each other by getting involved or even sharing crazy, fight videos, we see going viral all over social media.

1 John 5:3

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

John 14:15

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

What do you think?
